Vintage v. Electric◑
∞ I prefer visual pictures over electronic pictures because I'd rather look at the picture printed out then looking at it on a computer screen. You can see more detail in the picture if its not on the computer. ∞

My Personal Style™
∞ I think my personal style is probably black and white because I like the way it makes the contrast look. I like to do landscape in black in white a lot. I don't usually change my style up, I like to keep it the same. ∞

Edited v. Saturated➳
∞ I feel like we saturate things to make them seem more interesting. When we saturate things, they catch our eye faster. Even though real life isn't saturated, it doesn't disappoint me seeing the real thing compared to our edited pictures. ∞

Needed Photographs♥
∞ If I had been taking photographs during the Boston bombing then I would give my photos up for use. I would want them to be able to use some of my pictures for help. ∞

Too Far☀
∞ It's too far to push or to hurt celebrities just to take a picture of them. Cussing and yelling at them is too far. It's okay for paparazzi to take pictures but they should respect the celebrity. ∞

Privacy✪
∞ Nothing is private anymore really at all. Things can get out quickly and anyone can find info. Even if you think something is private, then it probably isn't. ∞

Instagram✾
∞ Instagram isn't causing photography's demise. Some people use it for random photography and some people use it for actual photography, so it just depends on how you use it. ∞

A Photo Never Lies✿
∞ Photos are not always accurate. A photo can be a misinterpretation about what is really happening in it. People could reach false accusations about the photo if they photo isn't showing what actually happened. We do have responsibility for how our photos come off to others. ∞

Favorite Photographer✱
∞ http://hamiltonfineartfoto.co.uk/gallery.php I like Julie Hamilton's photographs a lot because they are calm and relaxing. The titles fit her photographs well and their meanings tell a story. I feel like people can relate to the stories her photographs tell. ∞

Titles on Photogaphs ⚜
∞ I don't think all photographs need titles. Some photos speak for themselves. The emotion of pictures can help people tell what they are without needing a title. Some bad photos need titles though because they it's difficult to tell what is going on in the photo. ∞

Best Photo Shoot Ever♬
∞ If money was not concerned, I would really love to go to L.A or any big city to have a photoshoot. I would take a lot of shoots at night. The city nights at light would be beautiful and it would make for a lot of good photographs. I hope to someday be able to do this, it would be a lot of fun and a good experience for me. ∞

Camera v. Smartphone☮
∞ I would chose my smartphone over my camera because it's more convenient and always ready to use. The camera has advantages, maybe even more than a smartphone, but who carries there camera around everywhere they go? My smartphone has a quality camera that is capable of shooting pictures of basically anything and it's always in my pocket ready to be used. I would definitely chose my smartphone any day to take pictures. ∞

Photos I Wish I Had Taken⚛
∞ If I could, I would go back and take a picture of stuff that I missed, of stuff worth capturing. I would go back to the Niagra Falls. I have some photographs when we were there, but they are blurry and off focus. I would go back and take pictures using the skills I have now. ∞

Machine v. Human Being☪
∞ I think it's the machine and the human because if you didn't have both then you couldn't take the photograph. It is more of the human than the machine because the human has to decide what settings to put it on, the machine doesn't chose that itself. The human sets it how they want it to be, in order for the picture to be original, but without the machine, the picture wouldn't be possible. ∞

Real Photographers☼
∞ I believe that real photographers don't rely on the "Auto" setting because they rely more on their creativity and how they want the photo to look like, not how the camera makes it look like. The photographer may use the "Night Portrait" setting when taking photos at night instead of using "Auto" to make the photograph the way they would like. ∞

The First Photograph✞
∞ For my 12th birthday, my parents got me a digital camera. I can remember it was a red nikon coolpix and I absolutely loved it. I took pictures all the time, most the time of random stuff that caught my eye. When I got to higschool and heard about there being a photography class, immediately I wanted to take it to improve my skills. Now to this day, I can find old, old pictures that I had taken with my first camera, and realize how far I've come. ∞

Photography through my eyes✌
∞ Taking pictures is more than just snapping the lens. Before this year, I never would've known that. I always thought you just took the picture and it was considered photography. With all the stuff I have learned this year I have improved in my photo taking skills and now I am really confident that every picture I take comes out good. ∞
